Dudhsagar Trekking Package
Stunning View of Waterfalls and Dudhsagar Trekking Package from Goa
An incredibly beautiful cascade Dudhsagar, falling from 310m in height looks wonderful and presents a breathtaking sight in monsoon during the high rainfalls. Dudhsagar Falls is situated on the boundary between Goa and Karnataka and creates an astonishing sight during monsoon. It is an ideal sight for those who are fond of rainy weather and water. The majestic waterfall looks like a canal of white milk pouring down the hills and rocks. This trait of the falls gave it the name ‘’Dudhsagar Falls’’
Dudhsagar falls is located in Mollem National Park and Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary where tourists rush to enjoy the scenic beauty of the falling water. The best time to visit this marvelous place is during June and September. People who travel from Goa should en route through Collem and those traveling from Karnataka, should advance from Castle Rock.
You can only reach the falls in the monsoon through trekking because Jeep Safari is not operational during the monsoon period. The trekking expedition will not take more than 10km to cover. However, it requires you to be physically fit and active and you must have the stamina to cover the trekking route.
Dudhsagar Trekking Package from Goa
You will need to trek for around 3.30 hours towards Dudhsagar waterfalls. We recommend you start your trekking at 8:30 am and head back by 5:30 pm. The trekking path towards the waterfalls is not steep but you will be covering a 6km railway track on your way, challenging terrains, and the forest route.
The route is haunted due to solitude but not a dangerous one. If you are trekking in the monsoon, you should gear up to face the heavy rains that will shower on you throughout your path.
